From planting to harvest

We have laid out fields and built a greenhouse as a training ground for young Roma, and to give us self-sufficiency. Our young farmers receive horticultural training, accompanied by education in reading, writing and arithmetic.

With the help of many men and woman from the village, large vegetable gardens and fruit plantations come into being. Cabbages, potatoes, onions, squash, pumpkins, maize and many others flourish and provide an important foundation for improving the nutritional situation. Above all, provisions can be laid up for the winter.
