We have renovated the empty church ruin with its parsonage and school building. Now a social centre with washrooms has been established. The doctor’s practice with a small pharmacy for sick persons has moved in. Shared living quarters will bring the house to life and give the needy a home. Church worship and social work in unison.
Many persons have health problems and illnesses arising from nutritional deficiencies. They are not cared for, they cannot afford medicines; the next pharmacy is 30 km off. Now, a doctor and a nurse come to the social centre once a week. They care for the sick affectionately; the waiting room is full until the evening. The small pharmacy delivers the necessary preparations, most of them free of charge. For those with more serious ailments, a hospital stay or a visit to a medical specialist can be arranged.
